One big annoyance I had when trying to catalog this project was my virus scanner deleting and removing files.
I eventually had to just trust the project folder to prevent the live protection.
Don't get me wrong, viruses are bad but I expected this project to contain files that would be flagged as "bad". In most cases these are malicious tools but not really viruses in the sense that your computer will be infected. Although, maybe some of them are. Either way, I wanted to preserve the history of mIRC scripting and that comes along with the territory.
After fighting locally and getting everything squared away, I just noticed my hosting provider has their own virus scanner built in and it deleted 20 files from the archive 😂.
I'm going to list those files out below so you can see them. If you are interested in finding the files, you can still use the github repo to bulk download contents. The files should stay intact that way.
